Taobo sesame and bean grading machine realizes efficient grading and quality control of agricultural products such as sesame, soybeans, and mung beans through fully automated operation. Its work process can be divided into three core links in order. Each link is closely connected to jointly ensure grading accuracy and efficiency.
1. Raw Material Pretreatment: Clearing Grading Obstacles
This step lays the foundation for subsequent precise grading. Its core goal is to remove impurities and ensure uniform feed.
Raw Material Transportation: After preliminary cleaning in the temporary storage area, the sesame/bean raw materials are fed into the equipment’s feed system at a uniform speed via an automated conveyor belt.
Material Leveling: The equipment’s vibrating feed hopper activates high-frequency, low-amplitude vibrations to evenly distribute accumulated raw materials, preventing congestion during grading due to concentrated raw materials.
Impurity Removal: The primary cleaning device at the feed inlet uses a mesh screen to filter out large impurities such as stones, straw, and lumps of soil. Simultaneously, a negative pressure suction system removes light impurities such as dust and fines, ensuring that the raw materials entering the grading process are “clean and free of impurities.”
2. Multi-layer Grading: The Core Screening Process
This is a key step in the equipment’s ability to separate products of varying specifications. It relies on multiple screens and intelligent control to achieve precise grading.
Grading Device: Raw materials enter the core multi-layer grading screen (typically with 3-5 screen layers). The screen aperture, tilt angle, and vibration frequency can be flexibly adjusted based on the particle size and density of the sesame/bean.
Grading Logic:
Upper large-aperture screen: Screens “large-grain raw materials” with full grains (such as large sesame seeds, used in high-end food processing);
Middle medium-aperture screen: Separates medium-grain raw materials (used in daily edible and general food processing);
Lower small-aperture screen: Screens small and broken particles (used in feed processing and oil extraction). Power and Control: The sieve body generates directional vibrations through an eccentric shaft vibrating motor, driving the material across the screen at a constant speed. Material that meets the required aperture size falls to the lower conveyor belt, while material that does not meet the required aperture size is conveyed along the upper screen to the corresponding outlet. An intelligent sensor system monitors the material flow rate on each layer in real time. If accumulation occurs, the vibration frequency and conveyor belt speed are automatically adjusted to prevent missed or incorrect screening.
3. Quality Re-inspection and Collection: Controlling Final Quality
Graded products undergo re-inspection to eliminate unqualified products, and are then sorted, collected, and weighed.
Quality Re-inspection: After grading, the products enter the quality re-inspection area. An optical color sorter uses a high-definition camera to capture the raw material’s appearance characteristics, such as color and gloss, and uses high-pressure airflow to identify and remove unqualified products such as off-color kernels and moldy kernels.
Collection by Sorting: Products that pass re-inspection are conveyed via the corresponding outfeed conveyor belt to the automatic collection system and then sorted by grade into dedicated storage silos or packaging bags.
Weight and Traceability: An electronic weighing device above the storage silo records the weight of each batch of products in real time, facilitating production statistics and quality traceability.
Through the above process, the equipment has increased its efficiency by more than 3 times compared with traditional manual grading, and the grading accuracy has been increased from 85% to more than 98%. It not only reduces labor costs, but also significantly improves the quality stability of agricultural products, providing high-quality raw materials for subsequent deep processing and market circulation.
